Roger's surgery is scheduled for Monday morning 7:30 am PDST. If you want to know what time that is in your part of the world, please Check here. He's going to spend at least three hours on the operating table. Then some time in the narcotic haze of morphine while he recovers. Post-operative hospital stay is expected to be between 6-8 days. What we would like to ask of you, our incredibly loving and supportive virtual family here, is to send him your very best wishes and healing vibes while he's in surgery and after. We don't think there's any way to alter outcomes, but we do think you can raise his endorphins with love. So, let's do that.

well, you should be getting ready for the big drive soon. we are on the cheerleading team and will keep you close in thought, especially today. we will continue on that path until robin tells us you have gone AWOL. then we will know you are doing great and can ease up a bit! ;) sending many good wishes with your name on them out into this vast universe, roger. keeping robin close in our hearts, too. this is a family event. hugssss.

For any of you who aren't able to visit Facebook to read Robin's brief report made from the hospital - I know that everyone is anxiously waiting for news. I don't think Robin would mind if I posted a note to say that Roger came through surgery fine. I'm sure that Robin will be writing more of an update when she has time.
