Would that I were there to see these spectacular sights with my own eyes!

Each picture worth a thousand hand-written letters or more -- as many as it takes.

Thank you for the good work that you do.

It is our world.

Wonder if the creatures sense that winter solstice is near. Thank you for sharing your December!

so glad that I WILL be hanging out with you tomorrow. Make sure the animals know I'm coming and I want a show. Top hats and coat tails. Let's rock and roll.

Lovely. I saw a pheasant on our way into town this morning. Generally it's just a male and he often walks right into the road. Today he was alongside but he had a female with him. I don't know if she's been around all the time, but unless they get hit by cars, I thought it was neat to see a pair.

What a wonderful menagerie you have to enjoy. Hope the deer survives the hunting season.

I understand that in addition to all these critters, one of your neighbors is Mark Meckler. Are you having him over for some holiday cheer?

The owl's outline edged with light is wonderful;it looks as if it were frosted.
