These are Coprinopsis lagopus. Hard to capture them in every stage of their very short lives. But, wow, they are an interesting fungus to have around.

a creepy kind of beauty. I imagine they are highly poisonous.
I had a dream last night that all my computer and cell phone stuff had been stolen! I was done for! An odd feeling to be suddenly 'disconnected.' But then again....
