I love Sandhills but have never seen that many at once. Amazing.
They fly so high and honk their way across the sky. Cool birds.

What a feast for the eyes and ears. I was fortunate enough to see Sandhill Cranes occasionally in WI. So gorgeous!

Great timing to see them overhead!
I've never seen a flock of anything aside from a dozen crows or starlings. And once about a hundred seagulls going nuts on some fluky anchovy migration.

There's a moment when many of them flap their wings and there a flashes of light like sparkles as the sun catches the bent wings.
