In Honor of World Oceans Day

Today, June 8th, is World Oceans Day. We went to one of our favorite places to gaze out over the beautiful Pacific on a stunningly sunny day. This is what we saw.

Heading down the south side, watching the fog roll back in

Looking down at the boat dock off the wharf and being surprised by two river otters, celebrating World Oceans Day

  2. Great pictures. We have a lot of work to do to repair what we have done to our oceans. I hope we have the will to do so.

  3. Somedays, living by a (quite magnificent) river is simply not enough. Thank you for these views.

  4. isabelita-- Glad you liked the photos, and yes our poor oceans. Sigh.

NCmountainwoman-- I am not sure we have the will, and will only almost rally when it's already too late.

Sabine-- I have often thought about life by a magnificent river, but I know my heart belongs to the sea. River life is quite beautiful and rich.
