Love those birds in the first photo. Saw some in Florida and can they run along the beach
I liked them all. But the second one with the sunlight on the hill is gorgeous. Great timing.
How is your sister?
Nice work with the camera and the discerning eye.
Bill-- Glad you liked that photo. It's a Greater Yellowlegs, and they are fun to watch!NCmountainwoman-- The sun was setting, and it shines on the windows of the houses on that hill. That made the reflection. We loved it!Rain-- She's still not feeling great, but she doesn't have C. Diff, and boy are we all happy about that. Thank you so much for asking.Pablo-- Thank you. Glad you liked these pics.
Very nice pics. Love the moon.
kenju-- Glad you liked the pics. We were really glad we had a view of that red moon.
Great photos. Looks peaceful in all of them.
What a way to end a month. I don't want to believe that Sept is gone so I am trying to take your word for it. So glad you got such a great shot of the Super Moon, we were overcast here.
bev-- Thank you. Yes, peaceful is a good word.Arkansas Patti-- Oh yes, it is definitely October. Although you couldn't tell by the weather here in southern California. It was 89 degrees yesterday. Hot hot hot. Glad you liked that Super Moon. We were happy we had a chance to see it.
No blood/super-moon here in the northern Piedmont; we've been blanketed with heavy clouds since last weekend, so there was no moon in sight the night of the eclipse.
I watched a movie last night that ends in Capitola in front of The Venetian at a big beach party. So fun to see!
Scott-- We had some clouds at the horizon which blocked the view of the moon rising, but later we went out to see if things had cleared, and we saw the red moon. It was lovely. Tara-- I'm typing this while looking out over Monterey bay. We just drove up from southern CA. It's nice and cool here, so we're happy. A movie that has The Venetian Courts in it! That's very wild.
