Are you sure you're not dragging around a portable New Age energy "vortex" with you, Robin Andrea?
John-- Thank you.Scott-- If there is a possibility of an atmospheric optic I have learned where and when to look for them. And yes, I am dragging around a New Age energy "vortex." LOL!
beautiful pics. must've been chilly out there!
Tara-- If I remember correctly, it may have been as cold as 40 degrees. Just a few days earlier the morning temps were in the low 30s. Chilly. The hummingbird feeder froze.
Lovely. Appreciate your getting out so early to photograph it.
NCmountainwoman-- Sunrises like this one help to balance the craziness of the world these days.
I tried to comment earlier on this, but, as I think I have mentioned, I can't post a comment using my laptop. The presence of the column indicates the presence of flat ice crystals. That would have made for nice sundogs if the other clouds hadn't been so thick.
Mark-- I wish you could comment from your laptop. Makes me wonder which browser you are using. I had a lovely email conversation with Les Cowley about this photo. Atmospheric optics make my day!
