Wordless Wednesday: Out of Focus Goslings

Too far away to photograph, too cute not to.

  1. Yup, cute alright! In the last photo, it looks like there's a goose Cerberus, (Gooserbus?) in that flock.

  2. I never cease to be amazed at how quickly the goslings grow. The ones on our lakes are about that same size.

  4. CCorax-- I thought the same thing. I didn't remember seeing a two-headed gosling, and yet I have a photo of it!

NCmountainwoman-- They do grow quickly. We were so happy to see these four babies.

Nasreen-- So glad you liked these out of focus pics. Those goslings are such cuties.

  5. Nature knows what she is doing making babies of all species adorable. Lucky you will be able to watch them mature.

  6. Are you sure it isn't the babies that are fuzzy rather than the photos?

We see geese when we drive into town. They apparently stay a lot of the year in a lake along Huffier Road. They cross the road to get to a nice, green grass at a Mormon church. Sometimes it's a parade of goslings.

  7. Arkansas Patti-- It's so true how adorable all babies are of every species. Heart-melting all the way!

Mark-- Ha ha, yes, I hadn't thought of that. It's their fuzziness. Actually I think it is my right eye that is giving me some blurry trouble. I'm going to have to see an eye doc to check. Goslings are so so cute.

  8. Much too cute not to!
Surprisingly, we still have a lot of Canadian Geese (and their goslings) down here.

  9. Can’t tell you how many of these we saw at Bear River in Utah. Stopped and took a shot of every group we saw, too. Hard not to.

  10. Pat-- They really are so cute as they make their way down to the ponds.

Loren-- No matter how many times we see them, we still point and whisper happily. They are just that cute.

  11. Maybe they're out of focus because their eyes are bad.

  12. This is a level of cuteness that I just cannot take!

  13. Snowbrush-- That's very funny! I do think I need new glasses. I seem to not be seeing from my right eye as well as I once did.

Optimistic Existentialist-- I understand. I almost couldn't take it either!
