End of October Photos

Here are some of the photos that didn't get posted on the blog this month. We've had a lot of rain (5x the monthly average). The upside is that we saw plenty of rainbows. We even got to see this surprising Reflection Bow.

Rainbow and Reflection Bow

One of the brightest rainbows we've ever seen

    1. paullamb-- Thank you. It requires a lot of running outside in the drizzling rain.

  5. The rains certainly did not wash away the awesome skies but added to them. I never complain about rain, only the lack of it.
I really liked that reflection shore line. Cool shots.

    1. Patti-- The rain brings some beautiful sights, I just wish we didn't have to get it all at once. Glad you liked those skypools. It was quite beautiful even on a gray day.

    1. Colette-- I saw one two years ago, but it was not nearly as bright and outstanding as this. Glad you liked it.

  7. I have never seen a reflection bow. I knew it had to be something other than primary and secondary bows, since they are concentric. Very nice catch.

    1. Mark-- I went out to see if there was a rainbow and saw this. I knew it was an unusual optic and was so glad I went out. Yes!

  8. This is strange. I'm using Google Chrome and I can comment, but the robot test never tells me exactly what I'm supposed to be looking for. I have to guess, which is not especially hard, but it sometimes takes more than one try

    1. Mark-- I have no idea why there is a robot test. I have always said no to that stuff. I'll go check the blogger account and see what's up. I really am not a fan of robot tests.

  9. Reflection bow...so cool! I swear, Robin Andrea, you and Roger are living in a spiritual vortex (like those around Sedona) that you carry around with you when you move!
