This We Call Seeing

Don't write about nests
Or swallow's iridescence
They're not important

Close your eyes to this
Timeless dance, ancient rhythms
It's really nothing

How quiet it seems
Except for wind in the new leaves
And hawk camouflaged
This we call seeing
Human sight a trifling thing
Animals all laugh

Have a great weekend. We'll be back on Monday.
