I could post a video of all three kittens entering the trap together Monday afternoon, and then the string being pulled quickly, banging the trap door closed. The camera was set to record for 20 seconds, so it ended right as the door shut. The next video began soon after with the kittens literally bouncing off the cage walls.

They calmed down as soon Roger put a towel over the trap. Quiet. We put them in the car and took them to the shelter. It was their first alien abduction. I'm sure it won't be their last.

  1. job well done! if those little cats knew any better, they'd thank you profusely for enabling them to have happy healthy lives!

  2. A nice end to the story. Around here, unfortunately, cats are hard to give away. Kittens, on the other hand, are much easier, so maybe they will find themselves a nice home.

  3. All right, you have done your very best. Now lets hope the shelter can find homes for them.
    Good job of kittynapping.

  4. you did the right thing! kittens never appreciate the abduction, but they soon develop other interests. such as loving the housecat life and regular food, pouncing for pleasure and profit, snuggles. and did i mention the regular food?

  5. You done good! Did the kittens go to the same place their mama did?

  6. Yay! They're young enough that they can be socialized nicely and will make nice members of the families they are adopted into.
