It was early in the morning, and I was waiting for the
kettle to boil for tea. I looked out the window and saw this dove. Photos through a window are never the best...but placed together they answer the question.
Yes they do, and then they take a little nap!
Ours get very noisy when they are done.
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks like it.
ReplyDeleteSilly! :-)
ReplyDeleteSabine, Colette, and CCorax-- Thank you for enjoying the silliness. It's how I'm coping with the world at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute sequence. Looks a lot like what I do each morning down to the little nap:))
ReplyDeletePatti-- Glad you liked the sequence. Just trying to keep my mind off of my mom and Washington DC at the moment. The dove helped!
DeleteI do wonder exactly what birds are up to sometimes. Crossing roads now and then, exercising on utility lines.
ReplyDeleteMark-- Exactly. We really have to keep an eye on them.
Deletedove tai chi?
ReplyDeletepaul-- Yes, Tai-chi. That's what they're doing!
DeleteYou wait till I post the photos of what I took today, raptors bess & pigeons
ReplyDeleteBill-- I'm looking forward to those photos!
DeleteWell all that exercise is exhausting. Lovely photographs.
ReplyDeleteNCmountainwoman-- Glad you liked the photos, just taking my mind off of the craziness that is our country at the moment.
DeleteI love doves! We have a pair who have nested in our back yard for a few years. I'm always afraid for them because there are always hawks and kites soaring around, and doves aren't all that swift in the air. So far, so good.
ReplyDeletePat-- We have doves here in abundant numbers. Sometimes they make the coolest sounds. I'm always glad to see them.
