End Of January Photos

Before I looked through my January photos I thought it was a month of endless dreariness, but when I saw some of things that I had photographed during the month, I was surprised by what I had already forgotten.
A hint of a halo in the cirrus clouds
Iridescence in the undulatus clouds

Crow found something yummy in the pasture

Kestrel looking for something yummy in the pasture

Sunrise over the pasture

Radiation fog before sunrise

A thrush standing guard on the gate

A Varied Thrush walks the fence

Life in a rainy upside down world
After Ram Dass died we found this on the sidewalk in early January. Yes.
Silas smiling at his grandpa Roger. I couldn't resist!

  2. Silas has the right approach "I may be down on the floor with not much idea of what's going on, but I intend to enjoy it anyway!"

    1. Billy-- I did too until I looked closely at the photo. I was worried at first. I thought about calling it to me, but I knew it wouldn't come just because I wanted to help. It was fine. I was relieved.

    1. Steve-- We don't get to see the Varied Thrush that often, so when we do I'm so happy about it. Yes, that quote, so good.

  8. Aww if you only had that last photo, you would have had a great month. That radiation fog was interesting. We just had the regular all day fog here for 2 straight days. The sun has been a stranger this month here also.

    1. Patti-- I love your comment about that last photo so much. Thank you for that. I think fog is my least favorite weather condition. Well, we don't get hurricanes here...so I am a bit spoiled.
