Friday Music: Spring Wind

It's time to take a deep breath and celebrate the season. Spring has arrived. The sky is blue. We don't have a list of things to do but stay calm and take life one day at a time.

  1. Didn't we attend a Greg Brown concert together once upon a time? Love this song, and the entire album. Enjoy your spring! We had snow yesterday! As you well remember, that's just Colorado for you.

    1. Tara-- Yes!! I was thinking the same thing. We did attend a GB concert in Santa Cruz. Stay warm there in snowy Colorado and enjoy the beauty of it too.

  2. Greg Brown's music is the best medicine I could have had late on this day when I'm still awake at almost midnight, still getting over the upper respiratory cold. Forever grateful.

You reminded me of this, and then I remembered when you were Rexroth's daughter:

  3. He was new to me as was the song but I really enjoyed it. Mellowed me out a bit which is wonderful these days.
One day at a time is the way to stay sane.

  6. I heard that people in California have to stay at home, I hope you are keeping safe and OK. If it is any consultation we are not far off and my wife is worried sick. Does not help but our oldest son has to go back out on site next week so that does not help her. Just have to see how it goes.

    1. Billy-- It's true, we are under "shelter in place" orders for at least the next two weeks. We can go shopping for groceries and we can go for local walks, maintaining 6 feet distance from anyone else wherever we go. I hope all goes well for your son. You take care there. Stay safe and healthy.

    1. Catalyst-- Your comment makes me wonder if Prairie Home Companion is where we first heard Greg Brown's music. It might be!

  9. Entertainment is a very welcome relief amid all the gloom and doom in the world. In NH we are not sheltering in place, but maintaining social distancing and going out only when needed and daily walks as well. Take good care of each other.
