Friday Music: By Way Of Sorrow

I've been thinking about this song for a while. We are living in such challenging times, and I know so many who have been suffering for even longer. This song sung by the band Cry Cry Cry has the promise of hope.

  1. That was so beautiful Robin. Thanks. Had me up dancing. I love this kind of music. It's in my Scottish/Irish/English blood, even though this band is possibly Canadian or American.

    1. Dr Michelle-- I'm so glad you liked it. The band was just together for a short time in the late '90s. They each perform separately these days.

  5. The band is actually three solo folkies who got together to do this one-off project. They hit it out of the park.
The song is a composition by Julie Miller who is part of a wife/husband duo with her husband, Bud. Very Christian-centric music, but doesn't hit you over the head, so you can bring your own interpretation to their wonderful songs.
I freakin' love this version of this song.
Thank you for posting this, Robin!
