I'm sure you remember the Chicken Library post. Well... we discovered that not only do they read these free library books, they have found a way to give us their reviews.
They tore this book up pretty well. I would say they did not like it. What do you think? I trust their opinions. I just wish I knew what book this was.
I can't help you there, but I did pass a chicken farm only yesterday. They had a truck parked nearby on the back of which read "Chickens in transit......or Poultry In Motion".
ReplyDeleteJohn-- I love "Poultry In Motion" it made me laugh out loud. Thank you for that.
DeleteI think that sharp turn of both their heads is a statement as well.
ReplyDeleteColette-- Yes, I agree. They looked away in disgust.
DeleteClucking at this one. All reviews should be so decisive!
ReplyDeleteAlly Bean-- I'm so glad this had you clucking!
Delete"H is for Hawk," maybe?
ReplyDeleteSteve-- The perfect title for these feathery shenanigans.
DeleteOkay, I hate to rain on your party. So chickens being chickens , they like to peck away at anything just in case they find something more interesting to eat!
ReplyDeleteRed-- We know chicken behavior pretty well. But their critical review of this book surprised us. LOL!
DeleteAlways trust chickens!
ReplyDelete37paddington-- Oh we do.
DeleteThink they are saying they didn't do it but who ever went in the direction they are looking is the culprit:)
ReplyDeletePatti-- I think you are right. They are giving us a clue with their eyes. LOL!
DeleteYou've got me laughing. The comments have me laughing.
ReplyDeleteCould the book have been Chicken Soup for the Soul?
am-- I was so hoping this post would make people laugh. Yay! It worked. You made me laugh too... Chicken Soup for the Soul. Thank you for that!
DeleteDon't know what changed but today I can embiggen your photos again. Yaaayyy! Love to see those chickens up close (-:
Deleteam-- That's wonderful news. Yay!!
DeleteThe chicken on the right is saying, "she did it" and the chicken on the left is trying to look nonchalant ("what!? not me!")
ReplyDeleteYou gave me a smile today, Robin Andrea! Thanks!
Ellen D-- I love your perspective. Yes, I think that is what's going on. LOL. Thank you for making me laugh too.
DeleteHaha I'd definitely trust the chicken reviewers.
ReplyDeleteDr Michelle-- I can't tell you how happy it makes me that people got a laugh about this. Yay! We all need a good laugh.
DeleteProbably not worth the effort to find out. The chickens have spoken.
ReplyDeleteellen-- Yes, the chickens have spoken. I have conveyed their clucking here in blog-land. We have heard them.
DeleteMaybe they're on the committee judging the winners of the Pullet-zer Prize!
ReplyDeleteJohn-- First big laugh of the morning. Thank you thank you for this. Best way to start the day.
DeleteI was searching for something clever to write but then in came John and I can't top his Pullet-zer Prize.
ReplyDeleteCatalyst-- It's true, that Pullet-zer Prize is truly the best. There is no topping that.
DeleteOther comments have had you laughing, mine should do but I'll have to phrase it just right. With great care, compassion and precision the folks at Hfd County Hosp removed 8 cm of my lower plumbing yet had me back home by the day after Boxing Day in time to watch absolutely nothing on telly. Food? I wouldn't give you a fig for it, given it up for Lent. I'll quickly become a real spindle-shaft. Oh and I'm giving myself injections in the flap that once was my billowing belly.
ReplyDeleteAm I down-hearted? Not at all. This evening I went multicultural: the new James Bond movie and La Boheme. Gotta stay snob.
Roderick-- I'm laughing, although I usually don't laugh about medical procedures. Sounds like you had quite the surgery there. Hope your recovery goes well. I'm hoping you won't post any photos on your blog. And I hope that has you laughing as well. You know what they say, "laughter is the best medicine." Take care there. (If you have Netflix, we just watched "Don't Look Up" and found it alarming and depressing, but very well done. If you're in the mood for alarming and depressing.)
DeleteBet it was Fifty Shades of Gray. What garbage. 🤣😂
ReplyDeleteLinda-- You made us laugh out loud. Thank you for that. Yes, Fifty Shades of Gray. That's perfect!
